Welcome to The Troubadour London

The Troubadour is one of the few remaining coffee houses of it’s era in the great city of London. Featuring a club cellar which has played host to some of the most famous musicians and bands of all time, it’s very much more than a London coffee house.

World Famous Troubadour Club

Established in 1954, the Troubadour is one of a few coffee houses which has hosted world famous musicians.

The Troubadour Club has a capacity of 120 which promises a relatively small, intimate and warm atmosphere. Musicians are often within touching distance, which adds to the ambience and great atmosphere.

You could say the Troubadour has been very much a catalyst for hot emerging musical talent, and with it’s lively, quirky atmosphere it makes for great entertainment and live music performances. You can certainly get a feel for the music, the bass and vocals in the Troubadour underground club.

Thriving Bar & Restaurant

Once known predominantly for it’s live music scene, the Troubadour is now a thriving cafe come bar and also serves great food in it’s restaurant.

For anyone who has visited Troubadour in the past, you’ll be glad to know live music and poetry is a common theme, played by musicians and poets who write their own material. A great personal touch and one which promises a level of uniqueness and variety.

World Famous Artists

The Troubadour Club has been host to some of the world’s most well-known musicians including Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Jimi Hendrix just to name a few.

More recent artists to perform at the Troubadour club include Adele, Paulo Nutini, Jamie T, Chris Singleton and Hozier.

What We Think

The Troubadour is a great venue for live music, a spot of breakfast, brunch or hearty meal and has a atmosphere that is difficult to experience anywhere else in London. The club cellar and the Troubadour’s quirky atmosphere is by far it’s most standout feature, and it’s certainly one of the more exciting music venues the capital has to offer.

Top London Coffee House

For those reasons along with many more, we’d like to name Troubadour, one of London’s Top Coffee House.
